The Norwegian Association of Medical Physics and the Danish Society for Medical Physics is honored to welcome you to NACP Symposium, NACP's triennial conference, for the first time in a digital format.

The topic of the symposium is "Novel medical technologies - applications, assessment and implementations".


The symposium presents medical physics in therapy and diagnostics, with several joint sessions. Abstracts in medical physics and related disciplines are encouraged.


The symposium language is English.

Program outline

Sunday April 11-Tuesday April 13:

Digital symposium with invited speakers and proffered papers in plenary and parallel sessions, live discussion forums, virtual poster rooms and virtual exhibition halls.

An important vision for the NACP2020/21 symposium is to facilitate dialog and interaction between medical physicists working at different institutions with research as well as clinical practice. Therefore, we encourage everyone to contribute to the program by submission of abstracts relating to medical physics.

Abstract topics may include (but is not limited to):

  • Radiotherapy

  • MR, CT, X ray imaging

  • Nuclear medicine

  • Artificial intelligence

  • Radiation protection

  • Educational and professional issues

  • Clinical practice and challenges
